Nicholas Scott
Screenwriter & Creative Strategist
Character-first storytelling across film, TV, and genre fiction.
I’m a writer drawn to the quieter, more dangerous parts of human behavior — the choices people make when no one is watching, the fractures beneath ordinary life, and the tension between identity and consequence. My work spans drama, psychological thriller, and elevated genre, always centered on grounded characters navigating pressure, isolation, and moral ambiguity.
I’m based in Portland, where I split my focus between screenwriting and creative strategy. I’ve built a portfolio of original features and pilots, including The Cradle, Barder, OH, Sinatra Kills!, and Compliance, each supported by pitch materials, visual development, and extensive research. I approach narrative from a sociological lens, using structure, realism, and emotional precision to create stories that feel lived-in.
I’m currently seeking representation and creative partnerships with companies that value distinctive voice, strong POV, and thoughtful worldbuilding.
